Kiley Reisner qualifies for U.S. Girls’ Junior Championships

Wyoming Cowgirl standout finished second in 75-player qualifier

The Wyoming women's golf program is still in the spotlight this summer.

Kiley Reisner, who led the Cowgirls' dominant victory in the National Golf Invitational to cap a historic 2025-26 season, will represent the brown and gold at the 77th U.S. Girls' Junior Championships July 13-18 at Old Chatham Golf Club in Durham, N.C.

During Monday's qualifying round at Victoria Club in Riverside, Calif., Reisner finished second in the 75-player field after shooting a 4-under 68. The rising sophomore from Northridge, Calif., had three birdies, one bogey and made eagle on No. 17, a 488-yard, par-5.

Juliet Oh (-5) of Diamond Bar, Calif., edged Reisner by one stroke. The other two players to qualify were Olivia Oh (-2) of Irvine, Calif., and Hanbin Park (-2) of the Republic of Korea, who tied for third.

"I'm so happy for Kiley to continue her stellar play this summer," UW head coach Josey Stender said. "She has set high goals for herself and qualifying for the U.S. Girls' Juniors from one of the most competitive national qualifiers was one of them."

UW's Lucia Morelli won the Wyoming State Golf Association amateur championship earlier this month. Elle Higgins was the runner-up at the WSGA event and also finished runner-up at the Colorado Golf Association Match Play.

Reisner, Morelli, Higgins and Kira Reisner return to form a strong nucleus for the Cowgirls next season.

UW is coming off a fourth-place finish in the Mountain West Championships. Kiley Reisner finished second to lead the Cowgirls to their best finish in the conference tournament.

Kiley Reisner, who was the individual medalist at the Thunderbird Classic and Bobcat Desert Classic this season, became only the third Cowgirl to be named to the All-Mountain West team, joining Jordan Lintz (2000) and Jonelle Martinez (2009) on the list.
