Isabel Vasco Named Wyoming Gatorade Player of the Year

LARAMIE, Wyoming (6/19/26) – Future University of Wyoming soccer player, Isabel Vasco, earned an honor for her play this past season. She was named Wyoming’s Gatorade Player of the Year.

Vasco put up impressive numbers for Green River High School in 2026. She tallied 54 goals and 10 assists and helped lead the Lady Wolves to a Class 4A quarterfinal appearance.

Vasco accounted for 224 career goals, which more than doubled the previous Wyoming state record mark of 106 career goals. She was also a three-time first-team All-State honoree and a two-time 4A West Region Player of the Year.

Vasco also got it done in the classroom, holding a GPA of 4.15. Vasco will join the Cowgirls in a couple of weeks ahead of the 2026 season.
