Cowgirl assistant entering his third season with program

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 11, 2026) – Wyoming volleyball assistant coach and recruiting coordinator Justin Dueck was named to the AVCA’s 30 Under 30 List, announced Wednesday by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

The Thirty Under 30 program recognizes up-and-coming coaches in different sectors of the sport who serve in a range of roles, from head coach to volunteer assistant to club director. Each of this year’s recipients had to be aged 30 or under as of Dec. 31, 2025, to qualify for the award.

Dueck will enter his third season at UW in 2026. In 2025, the Cowgirls were the No. 3 seed at the Mountain West Volleyball Championship Tournament, after going 13-5 in league play. The 13 wins were the most at Wyoming since 2019. It was also the first time since the league moved to the six-team tournament format, that the Cowgirls qualified for the tourney. UW had a pair of All-Mountain West honorees in 2025 in Sarah Holcomb and Paige Lauterwasser.

The Cowgirls are in the midst of spring workouts and will begin playing scrimmages later this spring.
