Cowgirls Win Doubles in Loss at San Diego State

UW hosts Senior Day Sunday 

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (April 10, 2026) – The Wyoming Cowgirls dropped a road contest Friday morning in California, losing 4-1 to San Diego State. The Cowgirls earned the Doubles Point in the match.

Wyoming was able to come away with victories at the No. 2 and 3 doubles spots to clinch the point. At No. 2, Eugenia Ceinos and Madlena Orlova won convincingly, 6-2. At the third position, the team of Serina Abriola and Ruby Young clinched doubles with a hard-fought 7-5 win.

Next up will be Senior Day for the Cowgirls as they return home to host Grand Canyon at 10 a.m., Sunday. Serina Abriola and Violetta Borodina will be honored prior to the match.
