A double team didn’t stop Jaylen Ostenson as she drove to the hoop Saturday in the annual Meet the Dogies scrimmage game. The senior is coming into the season with 1,214 career points, and she and her teammates are determined to finish their careers by hanging a banner on the Dogie Dome wall.

Jaylen Ostenson had the battle scars to prove it was a physical contest between the Lady Dogies and the Lady Bobcats in the loser-out game on Saturday morning. Thermopolis did whatever they could to slow Newcastle down, but were no match for them as the Lady Dogies cruised to a 44-20 victory and punched their ticket to the state tournament.
