STEVEN WILSON STOREIM

Steven Wilson Storeim, age 48, passed away on Aug. 3, 2021, in Rapid City, S.D., surrounded by family. 

Steve was born on Dec. 18, 1972, in Powell, Wyo., to Jerry and Alberta (Wilson) Storeim. Steve grew up and graduated in Greybull, Wyo. He worked for the BNSF railroad for the last 20-plus years.

Steve married Bridget Goetz and had three wonderful children together. They later divorced. He loved his children deeply and talked about them every chance he got; they were his greatest joy. 

Steve also loved to fish, it was a hobby that gave him great peace. He would always send photos of his different fishing spots and all of his great catches to everyone. 

Steve will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Steve is survived by his daughters, Madison and Millie Storeim, and his son, Mayson Storeim, all of Casper, Wyo.; two brothers, Marty (Belinda) Storeim of Greybull, and Aaron Storeim of Cowley; two sisters, Cari (Doyal) Waterworth of Greybull and Nicolle (Shawn) Trotter of Cody, Wyo.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Alberta Storeim
of Greybull.

A celebration of Steve’s life will be held in Greybull on Aug. 21 at his sister’s house starting at 2 p.m. at 75 U.S. Hwy. 14. The celebration will be a gathering of family and friends to come together and remember Steve with conversation, companionship, and love. 

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, to make a donation in Steve’s name to a charity that helps those who suffer with addiction and mental illness.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Atwood Family Funeral Directors.
