Owner Casey Smith opened his store, Seconds, on Main Street in Newcastle on June 15, 2019. Smith’s longtime interest led him to open the high-quality secondhand store with more than 1,000 items, and by choosing Newcastle’s Main Street for its location he hoped his business would help liven up the downtown.

Most of his items have been purchased traveling far and wide to maintain a collection of high-quality and hard-to-find items. His inventory includes furniture, along with antique and vintage merchandise, dishes, collectibles, hand-crafted items, toys, curio cabinets, plenty of DVDs and Blue-ray discs, and much more. There is also much to see upstairs, where he has expanded his wonderful inventory. 

For that unique item that you won’t find anywhere else, come to Seconds at 212 W. Main St.  You will always be greeted with a smile and respect. You won’t be disappointed that you chose to stop by and browse around.

Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seconds is closed on Sunday and Monday.
