ORDINANCE NO. 5, SERIES 2022

 

AN ORDINANCE REGULATING PARKING AND PLACEMENT OF RECREATIONAL VEHICLES AND TRAILERS ON PUBLIC PROPERTY WITHIN THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE; 

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWCASTLE, WESTON COUNTY, WYOMING;

 

SECTION 16-35.1 OF THE NEWCASTLE, WYOMING MUNICIPAL CODE BE AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:

 

AMENDING SECTION 16-35.1.(h): Parking Restrictions, penalty.

It shall be unlawful for any person to park, leave, place, or let stand on any public street within the city or town or on any municipal city parking area, any recreational vehicle or trailer during the months of September 15th through May 15th. Temporary parking shall be allowed for a period not to exceed two (2) hours. 

 

ADDING SECTION 16-35.1. (i)

Violation of this section shall be punishable by a fine of twenty-five dollars for the first violation, fifty dollars for the second violation within twelve months for the same offense under this section. Each day a violation continues may constitute a separate offense. (Ord. No. 17 (2008), §1.)
