Highlighting the class of 2022

NLJ Staff

This year’s News Letter Journal graduation edition, the May 19 edition, will feature a special partnership with the Newc High News staff, giving you a look at everything senior at Newcastle High School — straight from the student body.

It works out as sort of a final project of the year for them, and we are grateful to the students and their teacher for offering us this opportunity to showcase their talents to the community, while also enriching the graduation experience for students, families and our schools in general.

This capable group of young writers and designers will be bringing you all of the details on the May 22 graduation ceremony, including a feature on the speaker, all the details on the valedictorians, a
highlight of dual graduates and a run down of all of the senior athletes that will continue their athletic careers after high school.

Part of this special edition will be a special Community Congratulations Card that allows friends, families, businesses and other community members to post their names and a short message to the Class of 2022 on a full color signature page that will appear in next week’s issue.

For information on how to submit your message to the Class of 2022, please email reporter@newslj.com or stop down by the office on Main Street.

All proceeds from the sales of these messages ($20) will be split with the Newc High News to support journalism in our schools.

In addition to the partnership with the Newc High News Staff, the News Letter Journal has produced the annual Grad Tab highlighting all of the Newcastle High School Class of 2022 graduates.

This special section can be found inserted into the May 12 paper. A special thanks goes out to all of the local businesses for their continued support in
sponsoring these graduates.

Help us continue to celebrate these students by including yourself on the special community congratulations card and stay tuned for everything Class of 2022 next week.

Newcastle High School’s 2022 commencement ceremony is scheduled for 2 p.m. on May 22.

Make sure to watch the News Letter Journal for our annual scholarship page and photos from the
graduation ceremony in upcoming editions.
