Michael Freeman opened for business in Newcastle as a Farmers Insurance agent in June of 2017. Neither Farmers nor Michael are new to the area though. Farmers has been around since 1928, and  Michael was born in Wyoming and graduated high school in Newcastle, so he knows a thing or two about this area.

Farmers provides a wide range of insurance, such as home, auto, commercial, life, farm, and financial services. Though they have a full gamut of insurance, they pride themselves most highly on their service. 

“We can actually usually beat, or at least compete with, online prices, and you can actually come yell at us — you can’t yell at a computer and expect it to respond like we will,” Freeman said.

In 2020, Michael expanded his business by becoming an authorized Blue Cross/Blue Shield agent, offering even more coverage.
