Edward Dean Eisele Jr., 74, of Newcastle, Wyo., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021. 

Dean worked as a respiratory therapist/supervisor in Alexandria, Va., and Plantation, Fla. He worked 42 years until his retirement in 2009 from Alexandria Hospital. He concurrently served with the Broward County Sheriff’s office in the explorer program while also performing his respiratory therapy duties.

Dean loved the outdoors, camping and hiking. He was an Eagle Scout and served as a scoutmaster for several decades in Alexandria. He loved studying history, anthropology, and archeology. 

Dean loved the Lord and served in various capacities at several churches and temples in Virginia, Florida, and Wyoming. He was a member of the DeMolay’s. Dean proudly served in the United States Navy. Additionally, he volunteered his time with Newcastle search and rescue.

Survivors include his son, Matthew J. Eisele and his wife Brittany of Searcy, Ark.; daughter, Michelle E. Shaw and her husband Jason of Russellville, Ark.; brothers, Daniel C. Eisele of Newcastle, and Elton L. Eisele of Hoffman Estates, Ill.; and his four loving grandchildren, Savannah, Kane, Asher, and Zayne.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Edward D. Eisele Sr. of Overland Park, Kan., and Goldie B. Eisele of Newcastle; and brother, David C. Eisele of Columbus, Ohio.

Services will be at a national cemetery in Arkansas at a later date.
