On Dec. 5 of last year the Newcastle City Council opted to make the street in front of Little Ones Childcare a no parking zone, following concerns about the limited view while parents are loading and unloading children. Since the vote, the city has placed two signs on South Summit Street in front of the business, banning parking between the signs.
The space in front of Little Ones Childcare will remain a no-parking zone despite frustrations voiced by the Ferguson family, who lives across the street.
