Janice Audrey (Heiser) Manders of Osage, Wyo., passed away April 14, 2022, due to a long illness.
Janice was born in Newcastle on Sept. 29, 1954, to Gilbert and Dorothy (Hemstock) Heiser. She was the third of five girls. Janice grew up in Osage attending grade school at Kitty Moats and high school in Newcastle. 
Janice is the mother to three children, this being her primary occupation until later on when she sought employment outside the home. She was active in the Osage community for several years as a member of Women’s Club, the volunteer fire department and EMT service, which she truly enjoyed. In later years she enjoyed rock hunting and spending time with family.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Dorothy Heiser; sister, Julie Grebner; son-in-law, Bert Sutherland Jr; brother-in-laws, Leonard Waldron and Ernie Nelson.  
Survivors include her significant other, Richard Mirich; children, Carrie Sutherland, Pamela Manders, and Steven Manders Jr. (Leah Nelson); sisters, Sherry Waldron, Dianne Nelson and Amy (Tony) Goebel; brother-in-law, James Grebner; grandchildren, Trey Sutherland and Summer (Timothy) Siebert; great-grandchildren, Bailey and Graham Siebert; as well as nieces and nephews. 
Graveside service will be held April 23 at 2 p.m. at Upton Cemetery. Reception to follow.
