For the NLJ
Not many people are able to say they have kids ranging in age from 0-20, but that became the case with the Foote family after they introduced what appears to be Weston County’s first baby of 2018, Jonathan Isaac Foote. He was born January 3, at 1:50 p.m. to proud parents Roger and Tanya-Marie Foote. He weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19 inches long.
Little Jonny has four brothers and four sisters, and while that keeps Tanya on her toes, she told the News Letter Journal that all of her kids have been really helpful, even willing to “change his britches.”
“All pitched in. I was spoiled rotten,” Foote shared.
Jonny was born in the Foote’s home, keeping the family’s tradition of having home births. Their oldest daughter Tabitha, who is training to become an EMT, even delivered and cut the cord of little Jonny herself.
