Not just for kids anymore

Library offers summer program for adults as well

The Weston County Library has lots in store for the community for the summer of 2017, and the list will take users well beyond the books they can find on the shelves.

The summer reading program is again being offered to both children and adults for participation.

Children who participate in the program are given a reading log, and for every 20 minutes a child reads they place a sticker on their log and have the chance to receive prizes after returning the reading log, which must be done by July 28.

There will also be contests, such as bridge building, upcycle art, and “green” design. Children will have a chance to win a seven-inch Kindle Fire Tablet for each contest.
