Newcastle native Brittany Hamilton is the new Weston County 4-H educator. With a passion for 4-H and years of experience in the agricultural industry, Hamilton said she believes the position is the perfect fit for her, especially because the job allows her to move home and serve the community she loves.
“I’m really excited to be in Weston County because this is my home county. It’s an opportunity for me to give back to the county that has given so much to me,” said Hamilton. “I’ve received a lot of support from the community already, so it’s an honor to serve Weston County in this 4-H position.”
Vicki Hayman, a University of Wyoming nutrition and food safety extension educator, said she’s pleased to welcome Hamilton to the local UW Extension office.
