Gubernatorial candidate meets with locals

Republican candidate for governor Harriet Hageman made her way to Newcastle on April 3 to meet with interested voters and concerned citizens. Hageman hosted an event at the Pizza Barn, and took time to meet with people personally before addressing the group as a whole.

Introducing herself as a “deep-rooted Wyomingite” and fourth-generation native who grew up on a ranch near Fort Laramie, Hageman said that her upbringing has given her an understanding of the value of hard work, integrity, self-sufficiency and honesty.

“She understands the issues facing her beloved home state and has dedicated much of her professional legal career to protecting private property rights, water rights and civil rights,” a campaign flyer distributed to attendees proclaimed.
