Election judges are still needed for the 2018 primary and general elections, according to Weston County Clerk Jill Sellers. In a June 15 press release, Sellers thanked election judges, both new and experienced, who are “stepping up” to serve in 2018.
Sellers told the News Letter Journal that the county still needed election judges to work the polls, serve on the counting board and serve on the canvassing board.
“We still need five election judges to work the polls as follows: one for Newcastle outside, two for Upton outside and inside and two for Newcastle inside,” Sellers said. The press release specified that Sellers will appoint three judges to each polling location in Weston County and that additional judges may be placed if determined necessary by Sellers.
