Changes in grade system may change how student is named
A change in the way some classes are graded may mean changes in how Weston County School District No. 1 chooses a class valedictorian. The school is turning to students, parents, staff and administrators to help it decide what to do.
The board decided to reach out to the community at its April 11 meeting.
In 2017, the Wyoming Legislature determined that grades in concurrent or dual enrollment classes in high school must be determined on a weighted scale for the Hathaway Scholarship.
