Candidate visits

Haynes vying for governor

Gubernatorial candidate Taylor Haynes promised to bring the Constitution back to government, work to eliminate federal government overreach and better focus on Wyoming agencies during his visit to Newcastle on May 3. Haynes delivered his remarks May 3 in Newcastle at The Newcastle Lodge and Convention Center.

Haynes is both a doctor, performing the first neonatal surgery in Cheyenne on an 8-hour hold infant as well as an independent cattleman and civilian lobbyist in Cheyenne. He has served on the board of trustees at the University of Wyoming and was the chairman of the Fiscal and Legal affairs committee while serving on the board.

Haynes spoke of his campaign before answering the questions of the people in attendance. He noted that he has previously run for governor.
