“You win or lose by how you choose,” DeMoine Adams said on March 28, when he shared his principles on how to succeed in the “game of life” with students at Newcastle’s elementary, middle and high schools.
DeMoine Adams, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, was involved in athletics for a good part of his life. He played football with organizations such as the Canadian Football League, the National Football League and the Australian Football League, and also was once a Blackshirt with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, according to his biography. He has also excelled in academics, holding a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in educational psychology. Now a professional motivational speaker, Adams has a “true passion for people reaching their full human potential as leaders and winners in life,” according to his biography.
“We all have the opportunity to be winners,” Adams said during his heart-to-heart with students of varying ages.
